Danielle- Avid traveler and lifelong chaser of sunsets
In Return to Love, Marianne Williamson writes “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us…We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? …Your playing small does not serve the world…We are all meant to shine…And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give another people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Danielle is a nurse who was born and raised in Chicago. Although she became a teen mom having two sons in high school, she was determined to be another kind of statistic. She knew her education would be the best way to provide a better life. Graduating on time in she immediately began classes at a local university. Determined to make a life for herself and her boys, she moved to Georgia in search for a better life. With a plan and God by her side she found a rhythm in Georgia. She later got married (and later divorced..lol) but that marriage resulted in her last child. Continuing her education, she continued her studies at Georgia Baptist College of Nursing. Being a proud alum of GBCN earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. She began her career in Obstetrics, earning national certification and became a published author in her specialty.
Nursing has and always will be a passion so in 2012, she earned a Master’s of Science in Nursing and began teaching the next generation of nurses. She earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2021 and her passion for nursing continues. Now with almost twenty years of experience in nursing, she is an international speaker and presenter, lending her expertise and thought leadership on leveraging technology to impact patient care and patient outcomes. In an effort to help other nurses leverage their backgrounds and expertise, she also founded The Pivot Nurse, Inc in 2020.
After over a decade at the bedside, Danielle made the transition to consulting on leveraging technology on a global scale with a tech firm. The ability to travel globally has only increased her sense of wanderlust.
